The basic objective of discipline is that the rules and regulations of the company are observed in letter and spirit.. In case of indiscipline, the proceedings have to be fair and just. There are legal procedures involved. The managers should know legal and HR aspects of discipline management and disciplinary action so that the actions taken by him are without fear or favour.


Labour Laws harmonize many angles of the relationship between trade unions, employers and employees. The goal of labour law is to bring both the employer and the employee on the same level, thereby mitigating the differences between the two ever-warring groups.
