DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY - THE SEVEN WAYS

DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY - THE SEVEN WAYS

People will forget what you said,

People will forget what you did, but

People will never forget how you made them feel¦..

How to Be Happy!

Don't ever stop dreaming your dreams; they're a very essential part of you.
Do whatever you can to make them a reality by the course you take, the plans you make, and all the things you do.

Don't dwell on past mistakes; leave yesterday behind you --- along with any of its problems, worries, and doubts.

Do realize you can't change the past, but just ahead is the future --- and you can do something about that.

Don't try to accomplish everything at once; life can be difficult enough --- without adding frustration to the list.

Do travel one step at a time, and reach for one goal at a time. That's the way to find out what real accomplishment is.

Don't be afraid to do the impossible, even if others don't think you'll succeed.Do remember that history is filled with incredible accomplishments of those who were foolish enough ..... to believe.

Don't forget that there are so many things that are wonderful, rare, and unique about you.
And do remember that if you can search with in and find a smile .....That smile will always be a reflection of the way people feel ..... about YOU

7 ways to beat your worries

Cant stop worrying? Try out our seven ways to beat the bother and boost your happiness. Whilst worrying is necessary for spurring us on to achieve our goals, chronic worrying can disrupt the balance in our nervous system and be detrimental to our health.

Here are seven ways to wash away your worries:

How to stop worrying, tip 1: Forget the things you cant change

If youre worrying about something thats happened in the past, you need to stop. The power of your mind isnt strong enough to solve problems through panic, so its important to beat your worries by thinking logically and tackling them head-on. Bad memories from the past are toxic to our health and highly counterproductive so you must bury the burdens of your past and move on.

How to stop worrying, tip 2: Write a worry list

Write down everything youre worried about; the bills, your job, the “ everything. Then rate them on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the things that are concerning you most. You can then turn your worry list into an action list. Take action on the worries that you rated the highest first, and then work through the rest of the list. You will feel a sense of relief each time you tick a worry off, and this is a sure-fire way to boost your happiness and relieve your worries.

How to stop worrying, tip 3: Discipline your thoughts

If youre a chronic worrier, you need to learn to take control of your thoughts rather than letting them take control of you. To do this, every time you think a negative thought, you must turn it into a positive. Every time you worry, think is this really helpful? If the answer is no, turn the thought into a positive or forget it completely. Whilst this may seem difficult at first, it will eventually become second nature and you will find that turning a negative into a positive is a much more constructive way of dealing with your thoughts.

How to stop worrying, tip 4: Distract yourself through relaxation

When were worried “ particularly about a number of things at once “ our brains dont tend to find a logical solution to our problems. In order to think logically, we must take the time to relax and unwind. Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth. After a couple of minutes of relaxation, the tension will leave your body and you will be in a better position to tackle the problem from a fresh perspective.

How to stop worrying, tip 5: Talk to friends and family

A problem shared is a problem halved. Talk to your family, your friends, or a doctor if you have a good relationship with them. Sometimes saying your problems out loud can get your thoughts straight in your head and if youre worrying about something useless, saying it out loud can make you realise that its just not worth the worry. With those close to you, you can laugh, cry, and moan as much as you like without being judged and this is a healthy way to relieve stress.

How to stop worrying, tip 6: Confront the problem head-on

Some worries cant be tamed through talking to others or relaxation. A problem that wont go away until you physically do something about it needs to be confronted head-on. Sometimes, we have so much on our mind that we dont know what to deal with first. Make a decision on which problem you want to solve and how you will go about it, and then stick to it. You will probably find that once you resolve the problem, youll wish youd done something about it sooner.

How to stop worrying tip 7: Put things into perspective

Dont be overwhelmed by small things; try and see the bigger picture. Is your problem really as bad as youre making it out to be? The chances are there will be many people worse off than you. Instead of zoning in on certain things and panicking about them, put everything into perspective. Does this problem affect your entire life? Will you still be panicking about this in a few weeks or months time? If the answer is no, then its really not worth the worry.

Sin Bin

It's a great idea in sport.
Too many fouls and your out of the game for a short period.
The same happens in real life, but we are not aware of it.

Sin essentially means forgetfulness, or more specifically,
to forget yourself, to forget who you truly are, a pure, peaceful
and loving spiritual being who occupies and animates a physical form.
It is this forgetfulness that makes us commit what we call sinful action.
If you are insulted by another person, and you become angry in response,
the sin is the anger which you create not the insult.

You are asleep to the truth that you just hurt yourself, and that you are
the creator of your anger not the other person.

And now you have a recording in your consciousness that contains an image
of the other surrounded by the energy of anger. You put it there, not them.

Next time you see them, up comes the anger again, and in that moment
you are at your least effective, paralyzed by self created anger, you are
effectively out of the game until you cool down.

Interesting isn't it. Never get angry, at anything, or anyone, anytime.
It's a sin!

Your Garden

Your mind is like a garden

Whatever you plant will grow.

Your thoughts are seeds you're planting,

They produce, each after its kind.

And, you just like a Gardner,

Can choose which seeds you will plant.

And by choice of seeds you sow,

You choose the harvest you will reap.

So do not plant seeds of lack or fear,

Disease, discord or doubt.

Plant instead, the seeds you want,

Then things you want will sprout.

This gift of choice is given to all

And not just a few.

The harvest, friend is in your hands,

The crop depends on you.

So take this power which you have been given

And use it every day

To gain from life the good you want,

For you have found the way.

Benefits of Being Polite

We all believe in the philosophy that the essence of life is talking. Communicating with others is as necessary as food. If we dont, we tend to fall ill. Today people are rarely talking.
The art of conversation has almost died down. People just usually sit and chat in their office breaks about things that are not even worth thinking about. Lets face it; we all are going towards doom where each one of us is talking to pass/kill time. The art of using communication is no more existing. People are concerned about others influence in their lives and not about their influence in others life.

It is an unbelievable thing that an effective communication through polite words can have wonderful impact on you and others lives as well. You can win the hearts of many people, climb the corporate ladder, have promotions but not have wonderful relationship with people around you.

The path to a successful life comes thorough the stairs of politeness. An act of politeness can do wonders that no monetary thing can do. Let us go deep in the art of efficient speaking by these methods.

Talking about ideas and not people

Its truly said, great minds talk about ideas and small minds talk about people. Politeness is an attitude of life. Talking about ideas heightens your politeness towards innovations and stimulates your mind too. This is effective for the speaker and the listener both. To start talking about people you can breathe out all negative energies about anyone: latest crush, which dress she wears, which perfume she uses, her bad attitude. The idea is that everything you talk about people usually comes negative. This develops a feeling of self love and comparison at all means. You do not value your life as much as you do to others.

Using intellect instead of the tongue
Usually people chatter on at length not worrying about the impact it would have on others. Since people are so occupied in themselves theyd rather talk about themselves only. This instigates them to speak rubbish endlessly. Have you ever thought how much of an impact we can have on others by our words? By trying to use our brains before speaking, we will save others sentiments and preserve a healthy relationship between our near ones.
Avoiding gossip

The one who usually starts a gossip or backbiting about someone does not know that he is the one to have the last laugh. People who start commenting and spreading rumors about others usually end up in a muck of politics and bickering about themselves from the other end. Such people should be avoided at arm's length. Even listening to gossip is as harmful since the listener had the power to listen to negative communication. This unhealthy gossiping could have been stopped if the listener would have ignored the speaker.

Exchange of compliments

We should not limit our compliment intake be restricted to our close relatives. People like our helpers such as servants, cleaners, house maids are those on whom we can count on. Speaking politely to them will ensure that your day is made. They are the ones who offer your services to make your life comfortable. So we should make endeavors to enrich their lives by complimenting and praising them.

Look for positive things in negative people

We all have negative and positive sides. Nobody on this earth has a squeaky clean nature. We all have flaws, however some people are observed negatively by their rude behavior and we become very judgmental about them putting them in the negative category. We should understand that people who are rude have their own weaknesses. They do not choose to be like that. Frustrations at work or domestic front make them act in this behavior. Such people should be offered more help than others comparatively. Talking politely with them will make a difference in their lives and yours too.

Feel positive about you all the time

Quite often we do not realize that we subconsciously become negative. Pent up emotions and unfulfilled desires make us behave rudely towards others and emit negative radiations from the body. Thus we tend to overreact and become rude and harsh to others in some or the other way. This might demolish the social circle that we have. So politeness in the hearts at all means will result in polite attitude.

Whatever is rested in your heart is bound to come out in the open some or the other day. Make sure you have a prosperous life with a polite attitude and selfless love. This will make you immortal in the hearts of millions as people are going to remember for your polite words and not by your status.

A photographer once clicked a photograph of ex-president of India, Dr. Kalam with a shawl placed on his shoulder. After the photo shoot was over, the photographer rudely took off the shawl and walked off. The President smiled. After being asked about his composed behaviouir, he politely answered that maybe the photographer needed the shawl more than he did, and continued his work.

People with big positions come and go but it is only their humble nature that draws millions of people towards them. Their polite words filled to the brim with modesty and love melt the hearts of even the rudest amongst the crowd. By talking politely to all we can make an impact on others lives.

Choices

Some people sit, some people try;
Some people laugh, some people cry;
Some people will, some people won't;
Some people do, some people don't.

Some people believe, and develop a plan;
Some people doubt, never think that they can;
Some people face hurdles and give it their best;
Some people back down when faced with a test.

Some people complain of their miserable lot;
Some people are thankful for all that they've got;
And when it's all over, when it comes to an end;
Some people lose out, and some people win.

We all have a choice, we all have a say;
We are spectators in life, or we get in and play;
Whichever we choose, how we handle life's game;
The choices are ours, no one else is to blame.

TODAY I TAUGHT MY CHILD

When I got mad today and hit my child
"For his own good, " I reconciled,
and then I realized my plight...
Today, I taught my child to fight.

When interrupted by the phone,
I said, "tell them I'm not home."
And then I thought, and had to sigh...
Today I taught my child to lie.

I told the tax man what I made,
forgetting cash that was paid,
And than I blushed at this sad feat...
Today I taught my child to cheat.

I smugly copied a cassette,
To keep me from one more debt,
But now the bells of shame must peal...
Today I taught my child to steal.

Today I cursed another race,
Oh God, protect what I debase,
for now, I fear it is too late...
Today I taught my child to hate.

By my example, children learn
That I must lead in life's sojourn
In such a way they are led
By what is done and not what is said.

Today I gave my child his due
By praise for him instead of rue.
And now I have begun my guide;
Today I gave my child his pride.

I now have reconciled and paid
to IRS all that I have made.
And now I know that this dear youth,
Today has learned from me the truth.

The alms I give are not for show,
And yet, this child must surely know
That charity is worth the price:
Today he saw my sacrifice.

I clasp within a warm embrace
My neighbor of another race.
The great commandment from up above.
Today I taught my child to love.

Someday my child must face alone
This fearsome undertone,
But I have blazed a sure pathway:
Today I taught my child to pray.

The Little Annoyances

When you let little problems get you down, then you give the
big problems the power to overwhelm you.
When you constantly cpomplain about things that don't really matter,
you compromise your ability to successfully handle the things
that do matter.

Whenever your day get interrupted by an unexpected annoyance,
you have a choice to make.
You can let it poison your whole attitude, or can actually use it
to make you more positive and powerful.

Decide to laugh at little problems, and see each one As an oppotunity
for growth. Every minor annoyance that you quickly and successfully
handle will strengthen your confidence.

That strong confidence will be extremely valuable
when a major problem comes along.
Even more importantly, that same confidence enables you
to reach whatever goals you set for yourself.

If you're already in the habit of moving forward through the little challanges,
that momentum will serve you well when the big challanges arrive.
Every small problem provides you with a way to increase your positive momentum.

A day that is filled with little annoyances is a day that is rich with opprtunities
for real and lasting growth.
Welcome those opprtunities with a smile, and one by one
they will make you stronger.

''Never fight.
Nothing is worth fighting for.
Wisdom never fights, it waits patiently, speaks positively,
releases easily, sees benefit in everything
and envisions a future of abundance...
knowing that all needs will be met at the right moment,
in the right way.
If you think life is a struggle you will always be struggling,
If you think life is a breeze,
your attitudes and actions will convey lightness and easiness.

And that's what attracts everything you need, and much more.
Make today a breeze not a battle.'' Innerspace

Try not to worry.
Try to look at what  you're going through as a challenge
rather than an obstacle, a time to develop patience.

To achieve more objectivity , detach yourself from the struggle.
Have confidence in yourself, and realize that you can change your
attitude even if you can't change the circumstances.

Look closely at your troubles.
Don't let them cause you to give up.

Befriend them and learn from them.
Feel them lose their power over you.
Allow them to teach you what you want to know and move on..
Try not to be afraid.

You're a survivor.
You're going to handle this.
You're going to find strength you didn't know you had
and grace to deal with what ever comes along.
Pretty soon , you'll be on the other side, and it's just  a matter of time until
you will look back on this time in your life and draw strength from the knowledge
that even though the road was rocky, you persevered and carried on.

Do not judge whats on the outside.

Sometimes people are quick to judge others,

when what you see isn't really all there.

People have different moods different personalities

different desires, so what you're really seeing

is only a mask, of what others want you to see.

On the inside, we all have the same desires,

a kind smile,a warm heart,a tender soul,

all wanting to be reached on the inside.

We're all not perfect, only  human, we'll have ups and downs

like a merry-go-round, we'll make many mistakes.

But just remember, the next time you see a person,

do not judge whats on the outside, we could be having a bad day.

Try and see on the inside, and you will see, the kind smile,

the warm heart, the tender soul, reaching out....

Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality.

Beset by a difficult problem? Now is your chance to shine.
Pick yourself up, get to work and get triumphantly through it.

Don't lower your expectations to meet your performance.
Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations.
Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.

Every day you spend drifting away from your goals is a waste not only of that day,
but also of the additional day it takes to regain lost ground.

Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude.

It doesn't matter how much you want.
What really matters is how much you want it.
The extent and complexity of the problem does not matter
was much as does the willingness to solve it.

Make it a habit to tell people thank you.
To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return.
Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you.
Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.

Rest when you're weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body,
your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work.

Success in any endeavor depends on the degree to which
it is an expression of your true self.

The keys to patience are acceptance and faith.
Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you.
Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen.

Welcome those big, sticky, complicated problems.
In them are your most powerful opportunities.

What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it -
would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way.
In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer,
you must truly appreciate what you already have.
when i am not using Internet for few days i get too many mails

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.

When was the last time you spent a quiet moment just doing nothing -
just sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs,
or waves rippling on a pond, a flickering candle or children playing in the park?

You've done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities.
Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive,
effective, unstoppable determination.

Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality.

Don't Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many a failure turns about,

When he might have won if he'd stuck it out.

Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than

It seems to a faint and faltering man;

Often the struggler has given up

When he might have captured the victor's cup,

And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,

How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are -

It may be near when it seems afar;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -

It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

The Law of Focus and Attention

Wherever we focus our attention is where our thoughts are directed with most frequency and interest. Thus energy is produced in this direction, whether positive and beneficial energy or negative and harmful energy.

If we have a complicated mind, which thinks too much about certain things unnecessarily, our attention may be led towards the obstacles, problems, upsets and the things we worry about from a critical and negative viewpoint. By paying more attention to difficulties and problems, we feed these types of thoughts with our attention, so that we end up attracting these situations towards us. Finally, the problems and obstacles absorb us due to the amount of energy we have invested in them, turning what was perhaps a molehill (something very small) into a mountain.

The situation does not necessarily change immediately on changing our attitude. With this inner change, however, we will have more energy, clarity and determination to face up to and change the situation. When we focus on seeking solutions to problems and difficulties with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, we attract positive energy towards us, and this helps us transform mountains into molehills.

If our attention is focused on people's defects and weaknesses, we transmit energy to these aspects and strengthen these weaknesses in the other person and in ourselves. If, on the other hand, our attention is directed at the positive aspects of others, we reinforce these qualities and virtues and help this person express them, which is also beneficial to us.

Our personality is made up of a series of values, beliefs and habits. If we wish to transfer our energy to new and positive aspects of ourselves, we must choose the personality traits that we want to emerge from us, focusing our time and energy on them and, in this way, this virtue, value or quality will manifest itself in our life.

Reach

The path between wanting and having is doing.
To stop just Wanting, and begin having, then start doing.

The greatest, most well-conceived plans are worthless if
They're not acted upon. If it's going to happen, someone
Must make it happen.

All sorts of outstanding opportunities are open to the
Person who is willing to take action. Be that person, take
That action, with commitment and persistence, and reap the
Valuable rewards of fulfilling those opportunities.

You don't have to be a world-renowned genius to be smart
Enough to take action. You don't need anyone's permission to
Act on your dream.

You must simply do it. Figure out what has to happen and
Take complete responsibility for making it happen.

Anything you truly desire is within your reach.  Simply
Stand up, lift up your commitment, lift up your spirit, lift
Up your arms and do precisely that -- reach.
