A must try...ridiculously easy but
unbelievably yummy recipe
Ingredients:
1 chicken
1 and half teaspoon mustard (raai) powder
1 and half heaped tablespoons ginger/garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2-3 onions sliced and fired till golden brown
1 and half cups of yogurt approx.
oil
salt to taste
method:
crush half of the fried onions.
add more if u want more gravy.
beat yogurt and add all ingredients
except for oil.
marinate chicken.
the yogurt should be covering the chicken.
marinate for 2-3 hours.
add a little oil and mix.
heat oil in pot.
add chicken and cook till tender.
fry a little, but not so much to dry the gravy.
garnish with the remaining fried onion and
serve with hot chapatis.
